How does Nutritional Therapy work?
When friends ask me what my most useful nutrition tip is, my answer is always the same:
“Listen first not to me, nor any expert. Learn the lost art of listening to your body. Listen when your body whispers, so that it’s not forced to shout”.
As a naturopathic nutritional therapist, my priority is to help you build that long lost relationship with the temple that is your body. Your body whispers to you every day, asking you to stop for a moment and pay close attention. It might be a subtle change in your temperature after you consume a certain food, or it may be a slight tickle in your throat or ear. If you pay attention at this point, you can avoid the escalation of symptoms (AKA, your body shouting at you).
About Hadia
I recall that as a child, my intuitive awareness that the ‘pill’ I was asked to pop, to help my stomach ache, just did not make sense, nor did it feel right. I wondered, why aren’t people more curious about pain?
As an adult, I now know that my curiosity and intuition were not misplaced; my body was talking to me and the tablet was meant to shut my body up. It sounds a touch cruel when put that way, yet we can be so cruel to our bodies without knowing. If I am able to educate and guide you to this knowing, then we will be more than halfway there :)
I am passionate about the work I do, and getting to know a person in the process of helping them heal is a big part of what I love about being a health coach. I will listen, listen and listen again as you tell me about you, your life, and how you arrived at your current moment, and shall do so without judgment, as it is vital to honour each person’s journey through life.
I acquired my Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy Diploma at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London and work by the principles of Functional Medicine. I am currently seeing clients from all over the UK, both virtually and in person.
As well as being a fully qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, I am:
Why choose a Naturopathic Nutritionist?
The Six Principles of Naturopathy
1. USE NATURE TO HEAL
Naturopathic medicine recognises an inherent self-healing process in people that is ordered and intelligent. Naturopathic doctors act to identify and remove obstacles to healing and recovery, and to facilitate and augment this inherent self-healing process.
2. IDENTIFY THE ROOT CAUSE
The naturopath seeks to identify and remove the underlying causes of illness rather than to merely eliminate or suppress symptoms.
3. TREAT THE WHOLE PERSON
Naturopathic practitioners treat each patient by taking into account individual physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, and other factors. True health also includes spiritual health, so naturopaths encourage individuals to pursue their personal spiritual development.
4. PREVENT DISEASE
Naturopaths put emphasis on preventing disease by making appropriate interventions in partnership with their patients to prevent illness.
5. EDUCATE YOUR PATIENT
Naturopaths teach their patients and encourage self-responsibility for health. They also recognise and employ the therapeutic potential of the doctor-patient relationship.
6. DO NO HARM
Naturopaths follow three guidelines to avoid harming the patient:
Testimonials from recent clients
Hadia's warm and reassuring manner put me at ease straight away. In our initial consultation as we discussed my symptoms and entire health history I felt very comfortable. We worked together to come up with a plan which I felt was realistic and would fit into my life rather than being completely overwhelming.
I achieved great results after following Hadia's recommendations - my IBS symptoms which I had struggled with for years disappeared, my energy levels and mood improved dramatically and in general I felt the best I had in a long time. Many of the suggestions she made have become part of my life and feel completely natural and I think that is key - it's not a quick fix solution but rather a long-term approach. Working with Hadia has been an absolute pleasure and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has a very calm, professional yet warm approach.

After suffering with low mood and lack of energy for years, and countless blood tests at the doctors bringing up nothing 'serious', I visited Hadia to look for a more natural and holistic way of managing my problems. I had some knowledge of nutrition but wanted to speak to an expert to get to the root cause of my problems and look at ways to manage them. I was surprised to find that my adrenals and liver were affecting my health.
Hadia was professional, personable and sympathetic to my problems and gave me an easy plan to follow. I have worked with Hadia for several years now and am happy to say that my mood and energy have both greatly improved, along with help for other conditions such as IBS which has been kept at bay due to Hadia's advice. I would recommend Hadia to anyone looking for a natural health expert.

I contacted Hadia to address a recurring issue with my lower back that I couldn’t seem to shake off. I had been to see my GP and an osteopath, but only short term fixes were found that didn’t provide a long term solution. Having had no experience with a nutritionist before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Hadia’s gentle and understanding approach told me I was in good hands straight away. Hadia is very thorough, and through a detailed consultation and looking at the complete background to my health, she quickly identified some root causes for my muscular issues and give me a plan to alter my nutritional intake to remedy them.
I would and do recommend Hadia to anyone with health concerns of any kind, as not only was my initial issue sorted, but I have improved my overall health through her advice and guidance.

For many years I suffered with severe eczema on various parts of my body, waiting patiently for the prescription medications to do their job, which sadly for me, never worked. I made a decision to seek out nutritional therapy having spoken to a few friends who had experienced success with it. Hadia was easy to talk to, calm, kind and understanding. Over the course of just a few weeks, she helped to educate me on nutrition and food and the link between what I eat, the health of my liver, and the ultimate effect that has on my skin and eczema symptoms. I am happy to say that for the first time in my life, my eczema is either non existent or at a manageable level and it is empowering for me to know I can take control using nutrition rather than relying on prescription meds.
